A Little About Me
My name is Hannah Short, and I am a licensed professional counselor based in Missouri. I hold a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Evangel University. My career began as a school counselor, where I gained experience working with both elementary and secondary school students. I then transitioned into a role as a school-based therapist with a community mental health organization. I am now a part of AutPlay Therapy, a clinic specializing in neurodivergent clients.
I specialize in working with children and adolescents, although I also provide counseling services to adults. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a holistic and trauma-informed framework, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual. I believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to therapy, and I tailor my methods to meet the specific needs of each client.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, PTSD, divorce, grief, and more. My goal in therapy is to help clients reach their personal goals and achieve healing in a compassionate and supportive environment. It would be an honor to be a part of your journey toward wellness.
Note: I am in the process of being able to take some insurances soon. I can provide a superbill that can be used for reimbursement from some insurance companies.
